I have many favourite Artists & Illustrators (too many to mention) but I thought I'd share with you a handful who have really inspired me.

Irish Painter/ Grafitti Artist, who graduated in Fine Art. He now lives and works in London.  Below is an example of his work which was painted onto a wall in London. I love how he combines a very fine detailed painting technique with urban graffiti.

Graphic Designer from Leeds who mainly works in fine liner and felt tip then scans and tweeks in Photoshop & Illustrator . His work is so beautifully intricate and distinguished.

British Cartoonist and Caricaturist who is perhaps best known for his work with American Author Hunter S. Thompson who wrote Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.  I love his scratchy erratic style.

Ruud van Empel

I discovered Empel's work in Auckland Art Gallery. He is a Dutch Artist who works in photocollages. I find his work incredibly mysterious and surrealistic, it is beautiful yet bizzare!
