Newly launched by DAM Creative, the website for Old Thorns Manor Hotel is a comprehensive brochure site for a feature-packed venue. The estate offers luxurious hotel accommodation, spa and health club, an 18-hole championship golf course, conferencing, weddings and civil ceremonies, plus regular tribute band party nights. 

The website covers all these bases as well as offering the latest offers for each section, PDF newsletters, an extensive image gallery and links to online booking partners. The site forms the centre of a complete marketing campaign by DAM Creative which covers everything from corporate stationery and brochures to window graphics and signage.

Being of a petrolhead pursuasion, my personal favourite items of self-promotion have been those completed for the Autosport International shows which take place at the Birmingham NEC each January. In 2008, our "More Power to You" postcard, featuring a DAM green incarnation of a Porsche 997 GT3RS, got the attention of many of the motorsport and engineering companies exhibiting at the show...

For 2009, we built on our previous year's success with a combined postal and email campaign to the show's exhibitors, giving them a taste of just how obsessed we were with the art of motorsport. How better to improve on the excellent performance of our Porsche card, than with a Pagani Zonda R! The image still has pride of place on the wall by my desk!
